Description

Fantastic spots surrounding Village Green Park. We stayed for five nights here with no problems, arriving each night after dark and leaving around 8:00am to explore Key Biscayne. There are bathrooms at the far end of the park, and a nice turf dog park at the other. It’s a short drive to the state park ($8 a car) or down to any of the beaches on the key. Highly recommend the visit!

Great quiet place to park. Park opens up early you can watch the sunrise get a shower and go on for your day. largely a residential area lots of families and tourists

This was our first time using iOverlander and it was a success. There was only moderate traffic so we slept well. The bathrooms were clean and open all night. We stayed 1 night with no issues at all.

It is forbidden to sleep in RV in the park parking lot.

A couple police officers came around tonight and looked at all the vans and RVs at the northwest corner of the park. They chatted with one van owner and told him that they had been receiving complaints about vans and RVs being parked here. They didn’t ask anyone to leave, but they suggested Calusa Park (just up the road) as an alternative. I haven’t checked it out yet but I intend to do so tomorrow.

Report Check-In

Arrived around 11pm on a Friday night, saw a few other campers/RVs. About a minute or two after arriving a police officer gave us the knock and told us overnight parking is not permitted there. We did not see any signage indicating this. However, the office politely directed us to Caluga park a short distance away and noted that this park has an officer overnight and 24/7 bathrooms, so we headed over there and will be spending the night there alongside a few other vans.
Cheers!

Report Check-In

I stayed a night here, arriving after dark and parking in one of the slanted spots along the edge of the park. I was not bothered, but this community is definitely very wealthy and they will notice outsiders. I didn't feel that comfortable. There was a public restroom and a nice playground/park at this location. It is also within biking distance to two state parks. One more thing... there are a lot of low hanging trees at this location. One of them smashed into my bike rack on top of my 10'6" camper at some point and bent the front fork of my mountain bike...be careful!

Stayed for a night no issues. Busy until 9pm then it cleared out. I did notice a water tap attached to a drinking fountain in the park by the cross streets W Heather and Fernwood although I didn't try it. It's atleast 75ft from the road.

Very safe, well lit, nice bathrooms at the end of the park. One other van parked along the park. I recommend not parking in front of the houses. Several people working out and playing soccer until about 9pm. Wasn’t bothered but a walker did a double take when I got out of the van at 6:30 am to let the dog out. Many walkers and runners out early. Keep it stealth. Respect this spot, I don’t expect it to be around long.

Pretty busy street in the morning. Don’t expect to feel welcome. This key is a pretty private bubble 🌱

Got here around 9p, spent one night here. A lot of young teens hanging around in park but police cleared them out for a 10p curfew. Quiet spot after that, but couldn't find a level spot.
