Great view of pikes peak. Can get to with car or truck. Narrow roads. Not alot of places to turn around for the longer rigs

Really nice forest. I like the small spots but more space isn't bad of course.

great spot with beautiful views around. Little uneven, but you can make it work

Night and quiet, you have to pull in and kinda tuck yourself between trees. There was another spot before this spot that another camper in a van took up. Road was relatively easy to get to, a lil bumpier than what Ive previously come across. The sunrises behind you if you pull in making a left turn in the 2nd entrance in July.

This spot was stunning! The views are unbelievable!! Someone even keft me a ready ti light campfire.

This area has several pullout spots for camping in the NF. We are in a Van, however this place is great for cars, vans, and small camper trailers and Rvs. Wouldn't recommend anything over 30ft long as there are hardly any turn around. Roads were great in mid May, but could be rough during winter months with snow. several areas have a view of Pikes Peak. 1 bar with Verizon. Can get a bit windy.... Youtube Nomadic Pickers

Camped here last night and this morning. was able to dig out a little fire pit to use for warmth but keep it low as the spot is on the crest of a hill and is quite windy. Following that last bit, maybe use your car as a wind break. Also, be weary of dust and rocks. This spot turned out to be quite dirty and I wasn't able to drive all of my tent stakes in. All in all, pretty decent spot for a free stay and had a good view of Pike's Peak.
