Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Beach is indeed one big loud party. Between music blaring and ATVs ripping past it’s not a very restful place to sleep. Left at 8pm and went to sand dunes. Only to find cars and trucks doing donuts. Left there too. Now at Pemex. At least the highway traffic is consistent white noise and feels safer.
Report Check-InNOT recommended! Avoid if possible. stopped for a night on the way to Todos Santos. seemed like a good idea based on previous recommendations. Been harassed by cops twice: first around 10pm, then (now) at 2am. They checked documents etc. first ones said it's ok to stay. Second time (2am) said it's dangerous here and asked for some money (for "coffee..."). not a fun experience. I stopped on a Saturday evening. beach is one big party. other than that, a nice place.
Report Check-InMuch more quiet than the popular beaches to the north of La Paz. Not as lovely but perfect if you want or need to stay close to town. 4g cell reception.
Report Check-InEasy, short dirt road accessible with 2wd. Level parking at a beach. Good celular signal (4 bars). In front of upscale residential area. There are even trash cans provided (a novelty).
Report Check-InDormí aquí 2 noches. Seguro y tranquilo. Buen lugar cerca de la Paz. Para estar alejado del ruido
