500 pesos a night, but it includes excellent wifi connection and a delicious home-made breakfast. (Diana is seriously the best cook)
You're not camped right on the beach, but it's close enough to bike or drive. Maybe a 20 minute bike ride.
Really excited to see what Mimi, the owner, does with this place. They were building a stage when we left and I know she wants to have live music there someday.
There is a horse you can ride, some great pups, a couple kittens, two pigs, and even some goats.
Mimi says she has plans to have it become a work-to-stay place. You can help weed, build future projects, or just clean-up some trash.
Really liked everyone we met there and will be back someday. Hopefully to see some music!
Report Check-InBeautiful private property wild desert of literally 1000s of acres with hundreds of year old cacti. We spent 1 month here in our 30’ RV hosted by our gregarious and hospitable owner Mimi, a Bay Area transplant who’s lived in BCS for 25 years and speaks both English and Spanish fluently. Perfect for those that want to stay away from people, explore the natural desert and go to the bigger cities when you choose. 40 mins north of todos Santos and 60 minutes from la Paz. 3 km from the ocean with a 4x4.
The site is flat and the highway is paved. Call ahead and Mimi will be waiting for you to unlock the gate. WiFi, electricity, Telcel 3 bars and water hookup and septic dump. Possibilities to dry camp/park farther from the center of camp. Outdoor kitchen and meals made for you available. Mimi is creating an inclusive Jewish community welcoming to all. Goats, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats all live on the property. Horse back riding can be arranged. Enjoy a fire circle and sing along with Mimi. There’s a small and growing garden and plenty of opportunity to help out and do work exchange. We will be back.
