awesome place between the river and the ocean, shade and sun, relatively quiet but I guess lots of people at the weekend. close to the surf breaks!
good tigo reception and claro at the river,
hotel and restaurant close by
the road is paved
and there are some nice spots to pitch a tent
it's a dream

River camp spot (previous comment) now has local house next to it with locals drinking/chilling so didn’t camp there, pitched tent in beachfront sandy space under trees. Pebble and driftwood beach, nice scenery of coastline and island. A few locals parked up, no one bothered us. Peaceful cool night. A few surfers arrived early, cool to watch.
Cons: no surfboard hire/facilities, lots of litter, hotel near so less private, lots of midges/sandflies. Surging waves so careful if decide to swim.
