Was here Aug 15/23. Already a tent and small camper set up. People there said municipal workers had been there earlier to cut grass; said as long as people in houses don't complain, nobody will bother you here. Great scenery, water noise mostly blocks hwy noise. Bridge is closed, but locals are walking X it.

Only one here! Gorgeous. Do make sure your windows are all the way closed as sun gets low. I got eaten alive in my camper van after wiping out dozens, literally, of mosquitoes. My doors had only been open as I went in and out twice. I'm the one who usually chuckles at the "mosquitos were terrible" posts. Not now . There is a narrow drive down to the shore where there is a bunch of driftwood if you're into crafting. Also could put in a kayak there. good fishing from what I observed.

Nice quiet place to spend the night and walk around to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Rest stop just west of the covered bridge Le Savoyard.  Clean, quiet, picnic tables with great view of the Gatineau river.  No toilet, no potable water.  Stayed overnight with truck and 15ft camper.
