Description

Beautiful campsite at the beach. Basic toilets and showers provided. Some tables and shade structures are also available. Looks like they are building more facilities.
There is a kind of an informal beach bar where the caretakers live and locals hang out during the day. It was far enough and didn't bother us at all.
We were charged $10 pp. (5000 col)

All facilities were very clean. An excellent location right on the beach. 5000 Colones pp, per night. We loved it.

I'm not convinced he owns the beach area, but we paid anyway. 10usd per person. The showers are cold and have a gravel floor, toilets work, water is not drinkable and there's no soap (but new soap dispensers).

ocean waves were loud but the view was stunning. lots of people swimming even though it isn't recommended.

We rolled up to this location on a Sunday afternoon & their were lots of cool overlanding rigs. We talked to a group of local Costa Ricans who were all leaving that day. Grabbed a really cool playa spot, parked in shade under trees. Flush toilets, showers & sinks for washing dishes. Sand is super hot & the surf is dangerous. Not a place to go in water but beautiful relaxing location right at Drake Bay. Owner was super nice. Great location.

Wow, wow, wow!! What a nice place to visit Drake Bay and Corcovado National park!! So many Aras and bonfire at the beach!

The facilities are simple but functional. The spots are beautifull on the beach within the palmthrees. Felt ery safe here and the owners are very lovely people.

Good spot for swimming and hanging out. Water and a little AC, for phone charging only. The water has a metric faucet if you need to fill up. Showers were provided, great place. Yuri was one of the owners and a big help. Cost 10K CRC.

Wow! Beautiful spot right at the beach. Very nice owner, offered us beer and something to eat. We are here off-season, so we have the whole beach to ourselves.

Great place to escape Bahia Drake, but be close enough to go on tours. It's a bumpy and somewhat slippery road to get to this place, but worthwhile the trip. very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The toilets and showers are constructed and clean. Owners speak only Spanish. Feels like wild camping with facilities. We could camp between the trees on the beach. Good for swimming and relaxing, also allowed to make a fire. 4000 Colones per person for the night. 10 minute walk from a turtle sanctuary where they take care of the nest and hatchlings and give them a good start. No WiFi, no electricity at the sites.

Report Check-In

Very beautiful spot parked by the beach under the trees. There is a “La Sopita” that has booze (sometimes) and breakfast or dinner but needs to be told in advance as they get everything fresh. Locals come here to hang out. Pretty dead out of season so you will have the space to yourself most likely. $10 per person per night, outside showers and toilets.

We have a very nice time in Ganadito. Gerardo the owner very nice person. He is working in improve the place every day. Is an amaZing adventure. As a part of the adventure, you have to take the Ferry in rio sierpe.

Very nice basic campsite at the beach. The clean facilities are basic and there is only electricity at the main building.
A lot of shade under the palms, also you can use the kitchen.
There is a new road between Sierpe and this place. Use the ferry and follow the road afterwards. Google doesn't find a way to the place.
The campsite is nice, the sunsets are amazing and Drake not far away. All in all the campsite is a little too pricey with 10$ p.p.p.n
