perfect place to spend the night before crossing the border to the US. we stayed in the little parking lot between the hotel and the travel centre. It was the right choice as the truck lot was overflowing with trucks.

Right between the highways. Looks like a new hotel has taken some of the parking. Off to Palmas.

Bathrooms are more expensive now:5 pesos. And don’t expect any help from the people when asking for WiFi.

Nice place for a night’s rest.
We parked between the hotel and the tourist center. The noise is very reasonable.
Clean restrooms - 4 pesos.
Good coffee and tea at the Coffee & Bread inside the tourist center

Très bruyant! Entre les camions qui vont et viennent et le bruit de la circulation, la nuit ne fut pas tranquille. Le parking derrière la station est plein de poussière et en pente. Le parking derrière le centre commercial est bitume, droit mais sale. Dépanne pour une nuit.

Un très bel endroit pour la première ou dernière nuit avant ou après la frontière mexicaine. Plein de services mais pour dormir faut peut être prévoir les bouchons car c'est un arrêt de camion donc beaucoup de bruit. Par contre, les camioneurs sont respectueux des VR donc essaie de faire le moins de bruit possible. Très sécuritaire avec des rondes de la sécurité. Si vous faite le plein, surveiller la mise à zéro à votre pompe.

Good place to stop for one night. Felt safe even with the truck noise. We needed a welder so we asked the mechanic shop in the yard where the trucks park and we were taken to a local family's home 9km away. A father and son welded our compartment for a very fair price and we were our way. Prices in the restaurant and store were quite high.

This is the second time we’ve come here now. Always had a good sleep despite the highway and trucks around. The nights are very nice and cold. Washrooms are clean and tidy and only cost four pesos. Nice bonus to have a good coffee shop right here.

nice and safe, a bit noisy at night but overall ok to spend the night, restrooms are 4 pesos and showers 45, there is also a small restaurant, it's a tourist rest area so it's quite safe to stay here for the night

Great stop. A lot of place to park. Bathrooms $4 and hot shower $45.

Nice spot. Safe and good structure. Ask for wifi and hotel..... We said that we need to contact family in usa before cross the border.

Very large Pemex facilities. Don't park on the dirt section towards the gas station area, but in the nice lot towards the hotel. It fills up at night with trucks rest-stopping, but is quiet enough for a Pemex.

Large Pemex with overnight parking, restaurant, no fee. Last overnight stop heading North to Columbia Crossing, Nuevo Laredo. About 1 hour North of Matahuala.
