Description

Mil Cascadas allows tent camping and entrance to the park for 150 pesos per person. We camped in the designated area, but they allow camping next to the waterfalls if that is your thing. That is probably another 600 meters down a steep trail. NOTE: GUIDE and life jackets required for swimming and cliff jumping in “Balnearios”. There is also a very interesting cave on the upstream end of the river that the guide will take you in about 200-300 meters that also has jumping. GUIDE Costs 500 pesos and a guide is required to see either the cave or waterfalls. This is on the expensive side of things for Mexico but was interesting and worth a day trip if near Taxco and want to enjoy the blue falls, cave, and tent camp. If you have a bigger group, the guide can take up to 10 persons which is more reasonable a price to split up.

Its 150 pesos par persons for the entrance + 150 pesos par persons for the camping (van). For a total the 600 pesos it’s expensive. The cascadas are beautiful but not for this price…

Just want to say, let's keep in mind $600 pesos is only $30USD. Where can you even camp for $30 or less in the US in some crappy campground sandwiched between two highways?
Ante up and enjoy Mexico. The waterfalls belong to an Ejido and this is a way the community makes money.
When we were there the water was beautiful, the guides super friendly, and the food at the stalls tasty.
