I pulled up to this spot at night and was amazed to wake up to this amazing view! Beautiful sunrise.
It is next to the road but very little noise at night (strong winds were louder!) No need for high clearance and loads of space.

Great spot for a night or two. Would not hang out here for days.

Report Check-In

Nice place to spend a night with a wonderful view. It's close to the road but that didn't bother us.

Report Check-In

Some road noise, otherwise perfect for an overnight stop.

If you want a large flat area then you need to go to these coordinates (36.8121837, -111.6568369)

There are multiple pull offs but the one on here is about a half mile or a mile away and it has a pretty steep incline from the road to the parking. If you are towing something there’s a good chance you’ll drag. The coordinates I am pointing to is very level.

Report Check-In

Coordinates are not accurate, we have to continue for approximately half a mile to get to the large spot.
Very quiet

Report Check-In

Very open and exposed. Highly recommend not listening to ghost stories on the drive here. Setting up my tent in the middle of the night was a little nerve-wracking. I thought a fence post was some deranged animal hunting me. Vehicles passed by on the highway pretty regularly through the night, some earplugs helped. AT&T 3 bars. The most beautiful sunrise I’ve ever seen.

Report Check-In

All the gates were locked shut, signs posted saying they no longer allow motor vehicles. It’s basically just a pull off on the highway so might be good in a pinch but don’t go out of your way for it. From what I could tell all the ones on this road were closed.
