Description

This is a simple, bare bones “RV park” in the tiny town of Eldorado, Texas. Calling it an RV park is a stretch, there are no bathrooms, showers, wifi/cable, or even an office. Basically hookups on someone’s farm land. They do have water and sewage though.

Not much, but does the trick on a long haul across Texas and its lack of public lands/camping (ugh, Texas!).

The owner lives in a house next door, she’ll probably see you come in and drive over in her truck.

Only about 7 spots, some of them look to be full-timers, but I can’t imagine this place ever being fully booked.

$20/night. I paid cash and am not sure they take cards.
Strong AT&T signal.

Latest Check-Ins

After staying the night, I DO NOT recommend this RV spot. I wanted a safe place to park overnight where I wouldn’t be disturbed by weirdos. That’s not what I got.

Some of the full-timers in this park appear to be men who work in the oil and gas fields nearby. One of them came home roaring drunk at midnight, woke everyone up with his shouting, stumbling, slamming of doors, and ridiculously loud truck. He carried on until sometime after 1am and was up again at 5am.

At one point, he even tried to break into my bus. He was tugging and slamming on the doors. I’ve never felt so unsafe in 2+ years of full-time road travel.
