Mexico
this place is open.
10 RV spots in a dirt parking lot, water with good pressure, fast internet. Parking lot is in a walled compound with the hotel, which consists of many cabanas, a pool, restaurant. A bit noisy not bad.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Hotel is open but camping is no longer allowed. You must check in to the hotel and pay for a room in order to park here. Previous camping area is simply a dirt lot now.
Report Check-InOverpriced camping but only option in town. 450 pesos a night for a Sandy parking lot behind hotel. You can use the pool and bathrooms till 9pm (when they clean pool and close bathrooms). No showers!! Fairly quiet at night but still in city.. friendly staff.. some cats around. Dogs allowed..
Report Check-InNo showers but 450 pesos. Not a nice place, in the middle of the city, on a dirt place. Really too expensive but we had no other options at the time.
Report Check-InPrice is now 400MP per night. If you have a big rig and want a hotel room (1300MP) they will charge you 200MP per night just to let you park it in their premises, even if you paid for your room. They don't have showers for overlanders, and there is only one toilet by the restaurant. Dump stations and water hooks available in the area designated for campers. Fast wifi. We stayed because it was late, otherwise it's too expensive for what they offer, you are basically parked in a dusty and dark parking lot. Pool was nice and workers very kind.
Report Check-InGreat place to camp if you find yourself in Culiocan. 200 pesos. excellent wifi (not many people at beautiful hotel with great landscaping) Pool you could probably use - we didn't ask. camp area has it's own wifi access point. NO electricity (it had been removed.) sewer hookups have been plugged. there is fresh city water with good pressure which we used to fill our tank. Hotel restaurant was a bit expensive but very good. They were for sure prepared for RVs, they knew exactly where to send us and someone quickly came to make sure that we paid our 200 pesos at the office.
Report Check-InCLOSED- they do not rent spaces to RVs any longer. And when asked, advised that there are no RV parking places in Culiacan.
Report Check-InA couple RV spots in a dirt parking lot, 15 Amp, water with good pressure, sewer, fast internet. Parking lot is in a walled compound with the hotel, which consists of many cabanas, a pool, etc... The owners son, Ines, was very hospitable and more than helpful in ironing out some of the wrinkles, ie; RV's haven't been here in quite some time and I was comp'd some free nights while waiting for the electric company to arrive; as the voltage at the pedestal was 140 volts. I used my generator while waiting for the utility people...The electricity is now in the low 120's.
