This is a location with a great view of the surrounding hills and mountains. The main gate was closed (will open in June) but there is another access point further up the road.

Place still as described in 2022 and earlier. Main gate to enter the dirt road was open. Got here easily with a C-class 25 ft RV in completely dry conditions.
Would assume that even 2 to 3 vehicles could stay here, if necessary, close to each other. See photographs.
We arrived on a Wednesday, 4 pm, and we did not hear/see ATVs until next morning, 11 am - but it is very clear that this is ATV area - because a map on a pole, just after the entrance to the dirt road, shows trails for ATVs in the area. (see photo). So expect ATV traffic especially from friday to sunday when people have off from work.
Fortunately today there is very little trucks/traffic on the main road, which passes below the spot. No trees and/but a constant breeze that is very welcome after the heat at Moab / Arches NP. Could get rough though in case of strong winds. No shade. No amenities what so ever. 1 to 3 bars with 4G to 5G T-Mobile reception.
Nice views, but very close (20m?) to the fairly busy, paved, Sheep Crk Rd, with some transport trucks going by, and the dirt road (also close) used gmfor site access is very busy with ATV riders, even after dark.
Report Check-InBeautiful flat spot with gorgeous views. Wouldn’t recommend if it is wet or rainy because it appears it would become mud. The nice breeze on a hot day feels amazing. Would stay again.
Report Check-InVery nice spot up on hill with nice views of mountains. East access, got to it with a fwd car. Full bars of T-Mobile LTE. Friend of mine have Verizon with no issues as well. Go past marker a short bit and take a sharp left to turn back and go down road about 100 yards and spot is on the right.
Report Check-Innice open vista. short dirt road to get to the site. 2wd medium clearance should get the job done. 5g TMobile and ton of stars!
