We were told by both the police and a local realtor, that the beach front is mostly federal land here and as long as you did not park where someone might own the area 6metres from the water, you were good. we camped here, two rigs, four people for a night. there are public bathrooms across the street open during daylight and a nice long pier a very short walk away to swim from. water is mucky near the shore and still quite shallow off the pier. There are bars and restaurants nearby, some with wifi.

This is right across the street from the cell tower.
We preferred the other place marked in iO. Much quieter, more space, and could set up our chairs right on the water.
Please note that to get here is 2.5-3 hours driving on very bad roads. We didn’t feel it was worth the trip once we arrived. Maybe I f planning on staying more than one night it might be worth it...
Report Check-InAbsolutely beautiful spot. We were told you can actually park anywhere along the shore in the town. Very quiet, everyone friendly and welcoming. There a couple of restaurants just down the road and a bar 2 roads back. The toilets over the road were not in a usable condition.
Report Check-InNice spot, good for 1 or 2 nights, clean, quiet, nice view.
Report Check-InNice place to stay !
Restroom open from 7am to 6pm
People are very friendly and coooool in this little town ;)
Stayed one night. The man that runs the real estate business is super friendly and helpful as are the people in the village. Happy to see people stay as long as the place stays clean. They left the public bathrooms open for us for the night
Report Check-Inwe spent 2 nights here.
pretty quiet day and night considering that it was easter weekend.
blue water, no beach, and shore a bit muddy. but it is a great spot.
we were glad we didn't stay at campground out of town.
we stayed here for a night and had no problems. it was really nice spot and after driving by the RV park near town, glad we boondocked. the breeze helped keep it cooler and the big trees were perfect for a shaded spot during the day
Report Check-InAsked the men working on a boat nearby and they said it was fine for us to stay here. Beautiful view of the sunset over the water and a nice breeze. As expected, free restrooms were a bit gritty. Cool spot.
