Super chill, highly recommend for a quiet night. Cool temps, and less rain than other areas according to the host. Only night we've had with no rain in quite a while. Paid $10 for 2 people in a roof top tent.

Really tranquill spot to put up the tent or park a van. They don't have wifi neither kitchen to use. We negotiated 8$ per night for two people in the tent. Its a family business, the owners are really kind people. We got ride to Penonome to the shop with them two times, also they showed us around the place, making small "tour". They speak only Spanish but if you speak it they will be really happy to tell you about history of Panama and their family.
The river is too shallow to swim but if you walk with the current, the neighbouring place has enough depth to swim. There is no shop close by, only a really small one and it was closed. The restaurant serves really good patacones but there is no other vegetarian dishes. Around you can see a lot of animals, there lizards and iguanas walking on two legs, we also saw a snake and a lot of birds.
I recommend this place, we stayed 3 nights.
if you don't have your tent, they have only one to rent.

We had a awesome stay at this Balneario. The owners are super friendly and were interested in our traveling. I’m sure if you speak Spanish you can have a nice chat with them. For us it was limited because of our Spanish level. The whole property is nicely prepared (cute cabanas, paintings all over, nice little restaurant - we didn’t eat, and some art to buy as well). The river is refreshing and you can find tons of mangos right now. Price is still 10$/night. They have flush toilets and a shower.

Nice green place. 10$ for tent. Person who collected money doesn't speak any English, not sure who that was.
