Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
First spigot doesn’t work. Keep driving to the next section of the rest stop. The second green spigot works and is threaded for a hose.
Report Check-InGreen spigot, near the walking path, leading to the bathrooms and visitor center. It’s not marked as Potable/Non Potable, but I asked a grounds keeper there and he said it is Potable. The state of California will put up a sign notifying you if it’s not. This is a great place to fill up large jugs/gallon water containers. Probably not good for RV’s. No hose/thread available.
Report Check-InDon’t know about the water pump, but this was a great place to park for the night in a 40ft motor home towing a small car. Rest rooms were open and no hwy noise. We were parked with 5 other motor homes by about 5:30 pm. The remaining 10 or 12 big rig parking spots were occupied by 8pm.
Report Check-InAs described-ish
I must be at the other end of the rest stop or they have changed the spigot.
I'm also on visible which runs on Verizon 4g only and I seem to have service. I just tested, so slow it's probably unusable. This test still is just south of the California inspection point.
The Klamath river is right there, nice spot.
