Large clearing just off MN-1 in Superior NF. It's a short (500yds) drive down a lightly used dirt road. There's evidence of other people camping out here and several roads/trails lead out from it, but we were all alone on a weekend and didn't see a single other person. Far enough from the highway to not hear any road noise. Lots of bugs, but it's mid July so not surprising. Plenty of room to maneuver a big rig or trailer but not all of it is flat. Decent cell signal (2-3 bars) on Tmobile and Google Fi.

Awesome flat clearing in the woods, large enough for many vehicles. It is the end of September when I came in here, it's been hot, and hasn't rained in days and there are still 2 decently large mud/puddles you have to drive through. so I suspect these mud holes are here almost all of the time. I made it through with my silverado in 2wd, but the only reason I attempted was because I knew I had 4wd to fall back on. I wouldn't attempt if you only have 2wd. Great spot though. 1-2 bars Verizon.
