Stopped here for the night with our rooftop tent. Surprisingly quiet and safe. Only negative was that the women’s showers are completely unusable (no shower head!) which was disappointing! Didn’t check the men’s but they seemed to be working.

Área de descanso que cuenta con servicios de agua, baño y ducha gratuita. Estacionamiento para camiones y vehículos livianos. Está ubicado 25 km antes de llegar a Iquique. Lugar tranquilo para pernoctar.

Great showers! Amazing water pressure, hot and free! Also water in red hose next to the bathroom.

Free toilets and hot showers. Noisy in the morning.

Surprisingly clean for free amenities. So good to have a free hot shower !
Ideal place to stay close to Iquique for spending a couple of nights.

good resting area by the highway. we didnt spend the night but it looks like you could. lots of parking. free.
