The locals sent me this way. Really a great spot. There are maybe 7, or 8 spots along this road. Some larger, some smaller. Perfect for car, van or tent camping. Each spot is right in the creek, and very private. Sone traffic during the day, but nothing crazy. Was told there can be bear activity here, so just be aware of food precautions. No cell service, but you can walk or drive a mile to get it. Close to town. I would absolutely stay here again.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Very quiet secluded sites next to a creek. No problem pulling a trailer in. The road was great and there is a turnaround at the end of the road.
Report Check-InNice spots that back up to the creek… this was the second year I’ve stopped here… although this year there were more private property signs at some of the camp spots, you’ll have to drive closer to the trail head to find camp spots now…. So beware if you go up thinking you’ll find as many spots as before, because that’s not the case…
Report Check-InThought we were in the wrong place at first - had to drive through a road with "Private Property" and "No Trespassing" signs all over, but the signs were only for the side of the road. Eventually got to public land and it was by far the best camping spot we've found in a long while. Each little turn-off was secluded and next to the creek which provided perfect sleep sounds. Will definitely return if we get the chance!
Report Check-InNice spots but be Bear Aware! There is a site that looks permanent that is covered in garbage so be careful with your food & cooking. Nice spot but was mostly full on this Friday night.
