Large turn out with fire ring. A little busy next to the forest dirt road even late into the night. Stayed one night. Saw a deer. Saw the Milky Way for the first time. Lots of shooting stars. No Verizon signal. OK place to bring dogs if careful - not a lot of grass and they could go down the embankment if unattended. Road to get here very bumpy washboard.

USFS & NPS have worked hard to improve this road; decently smooth drive, minor washboard. Only need 2WD, low-clearance is fine. Saw a couple tesla and bmw sedan’s.
I didn’t stay at this exact pull-out, but one further south. Open sky for Starlink; had 1 bar Verizon LTE that was unreliable and kept going in and out.
Road was very busy on a Sunday (3+ dozen cars passed by in the evening), but really quiet on a Monday (5-6 cars max all day - two of which were government).
Most of the firepits have had the rocks removed from around them. Beautiful views!
Report Check-InMissed this exact turnout, but found one a little further along the road. Road is pretty rough, so I don't recommend it unless you're doing a hike in the area. (IE: Tolmie). Other than that, not too bad. Some traffic throughout the night, but it's sporadic and didn't keep me up.
