Latest Check-Ins

Huge campground lots of sites. We got here after hours so we did check in in the morning. Nice bathrooms, nice hot showers. We were the only ones in our tent area(we stayed in a van). Easy to find.

Accurate, cost effective, and great service. Very nice grounds and most likely the HOTTEST SHOWERES i have found in a campground cross country!

Camped here with fellow VW friends, we were on site B-24. Nice and cool weather for Mid July!
Mens Bathrooms were clean when i used them, showers had hot water, lights are on motion timer, so if they go out just wave your arm.
Cell service was available,
Site had 30A and 15A service, Water and Firepit w/ grate for cooking
$100 for Wed - Sunday
We always have a great stay and booked again for next year.

I paid for hookups even though I didn’t need them ( camper van). The woman said that’s how they charge vans. It’s was $42 even though they offer $35 sites with less amps. IDK why. The showers were hot which is what I wanted. The bathroom was dirty and the lights went out when I was in the shower. They are on a sensor so when you’re in the stall they turn off. Take a lantern in there with you if you stay there. The sites were too close together. I actually left when my neighbor started at fire at 3:00. I was unable to lay in my bed with the door open. I moved to Linville Gorge FS road. I would not recommend.

Open year-round. A bonus for us low season travelers. Nice bathrooms with on demand hot water but a bit dirty. We had water and electric at the site for $25 per night. A rocky stream lies between the campground and the road so it helps drown out some road noise, but not the louder vehicles.

Nice place, setting on North side of grandfather mountain with summit views from campground. got lucky when we called and they had space, it Columbus day weekend.
