ADMIN NOTE: TENT CAMPING ONLY
- Tent camping but if you pay for tent you can park next to the camp.
- We have been sleeping in the car.
- Suprisingly not fully occupied during our stay.
- 10$ per person per night.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Great place to camp spontaneously! We arrived at 9am and there were only a few spots left that fit us two. Each campsite is $10/person and is shared between up to 6 people. If you’re visiting in the next few months just be aware that there’s flooding in Yosemite!! Camp 4 is open still but the campsites on the west side (sites 1-36) are pretty muddy but there’s still plenty of dry spots to camp there. If you arrive late I would check there first because the east side fills up much faster (because it’s a little nicer).
Report Check-InCool place to camp, first come first serve until late spring, walk in tent only. Clean bathrooms.
Report Check-InPart of the camp was close for winter, I arrived in the night so just drop my tent in that closed part :p on the other side “new camp 4” there where plenty of tent.

Report Check-InStayed 2 nights in a snow storm. Great little place! We can imagine it is very alive during summer.
Report Check-InTechnically a tent camping only but if you pay for the night you shouldn't have a problem sleeping in you van. May be different in high season.
We stayed 2 nights and had no issues. Its a self checkin in low season.
Quiet. Toilets and potable water on the camp site.
Amazing starry sky !
Sleeping in your Van is forbidden here! We asked the Ranger at the Campsite reservation office! You are only allowed to camp here in a tent! No overnight in your car. Sorry!
