In the off season (2nd Sunday after labor day) the metered parking isn't enforced at all. There's no signs saying you can't leave your car there overnight, and a few others had done the same. No difference if I'm inside it sleeping or not. This spot is in a residential area with two spots for parallel parking all the way at the end of the street. Beach access within 30 feet. Sipped coffee and watched the sun rise this morning. No toilets but you can find some nearby, 4 bars LTE, neighbors on morning jog didn't mind me, even said hello. Pets welcome but only allowed on Beach during certain times. If it's not off season, use at your own risk. I know it gets busy but I don't know if it's enforced. Enjoy my favorite spot in Dewey!

Report Check-InGreat place right by the ocean and quiet overnight. As mentioned, metered parking is Mar.15-Sept.15, so no issues with over night stays in the off season. City ordinance bans sleeping overnight in your vehicle, so don’t be too obvious and people will leave you alone.
