Description

County fairgrounds with year round RV and camper van parking. We stayed one night on our way to Bodie. Sonora is a great historic town.

Camp host is super nice. Hookups if you need them. Full facilities with wonderful large showers! $35/night. Quiet with four bars on Verizon.

Fantastic little year round spot. Sometimes they have events that take the rv area space but for the most part it's available and open year round. Showers are huge, private single shower rooms. A little dirty so bring your flip flops, but the hot water lasts forever once it gets going (give it a minute). Great spot for sure.

Quiet RV campground. Near road but the traffic isn’t too bad. When you see the Subaru auto shop on the left, go right thru the parking lot and back a bit to the camp host. He will show you where to park. $35 for water and electric. They have bathrooms with showers too.

Nice campground as described. 35$ with 30 Amp electricity including dump, water, hot showers. Very quiet, shady places.

Camp hosts were great, and facilities excellent and we had them virtually to ourselves as this campsite caters primarily to full hookup RVs. We did have a bit of a challenge convincing the hosts to let us stay as there are some rules in place about not allowing people to sleep in their car at this camp. We explained that it was an overland RV and our “home” and we were not homeless. Good for a one night stay, replenishing water and a great hot shower.
