Called ahead and asked, no overnight parking. Towing signs in lot enforced

Walmart says they allow but the Plano Police can come and remove you at their own. So basically at your own risk.

We were going to stay the night but decided not to because the reviews on Google are really bad. Apparently this Walmart puts boots on the tires of truckers in the middle of the night without waking them or anything. We decided not to risk it in our van.

Solid location for an overnight. One other van near me. A couple places to eat within walking distance and a perfectly safe Walmart.

Checked with a manager. He said “you’ll probably be fine. We don’t mind at all, the city is the issue.” We took our chances and enjoyed a great night with no issues.

Well lit, safe. Asked and they said it’s fine for overnight (even if it’s for a few days) as long as you’re parked in the back and away from customer parking. Only a handful of other overnighters (trucks/van) and the lot stays busy with overnight workers cars.

The right side of the lot facing grassland is good. No one bothered me in an SUV camper.
