Beautiful place. Could be so much better! We got here Thursday. Nobody here to check us in. We are in site 45A. No fire pit. Bright light that comes on at 8:45. Mud, mud mud! The pics on line are not what you get! Could be sooooo much more than it is! Memorial Day weekend and the potapotties are full! Yuk! Dubuque could do so much better than this!
Report Check-InCamp right on the Mississippi! Can’t beat the price - $20 even with no booking fee. 20/30/50 amp electric. Showers were a bit gnarly.
There’s a walking/bike path around the island which is pretty nice.
