Process is strait forward, we got our Iran transit visa here within less than an hour for 42€ (German citizenship).
First you have to hand over your passports and phones at a white container on the opposite street site of the consulate entrance and get checked for weapons there. After this process you can enter the consulate. Some guys spoke English and everybody was kind and helpful. there were not many other visitors there.
