Description

This is a beautiful hotel that has opened its grounds for overland vehicles to park overnight. Price is currently 100 pesos/night per personWe stayed four nights with our young son, and felt safe and welcomed. Amenities and features: spigots with water, bathrooms with cold showers, WiFi, gate locked at night, swimming pool, volleyball court, playground with rope swing, pond with turtles, peacocks roaming the grounds, and vocal roosters. While showers are cold, you can get boiling water from the water heater in a bucket and get creative. The restaurant on-site is open from about 8:30-4 and is our favorite spot to eat in town. We love the empanadas, chilaquiles, huevos al gusto, tacos dorados, and hot cakes, but there are a number of things to try! We ate there once a day. This location is walkable to all of town. Tlacotalpan is one of 10 towns in Mexico that are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The town has a rich history and unique architecture to appreciate. We highly recommend you visit. Say hello to Veronica, the manager of the property!

Camping in front of hotel in gravel parking. Some shade trees. 200 pesos per vehicle per night. Friendly hotel staff. Clean banos & cold showers. Nice playground & big pool. We didn’t have time to use pool. Lots of mosquitoes here. Fun & easy walk to beautiful historic town. Worth the stop here. We really enjoyed walking & photographing the town. Colorful buildings & zócalo was fun. Good fish & shrimp in town. We would definitely return to this very safe town. They were harvesting sugarcane on road on our drive south. Tons of trucks towing 5-6 trailers stacked full of sugarcane. Interesting to see the process.

Its a good safe Place to overnight. Friendly staff and the town is really pretty. The Noise at Night and early morning is something though.. you sleep right next to many Chicken and other Birds. Toilets and Showers not so nice.

Good plaze to camp in the parking lot. Clean toilet and showers. 10 Min. Walk to city center. 100$ per Perso per night. Think most vehicles will fit...

Entrance is behind the Pemex, located on the town’s main drag. This GPS point will not take you to the location even though it is technically the camping spot. any height vehicle can get in the very safe lot but the parking is better suited for smaller wheel bases. wi-fi isn’t great on our visit. toilets work and are fine

Spent 2 night there. Although the owners are very friendly and weloming, the place is very noisy early in the morning due to the chickens, peacoks and dogs...
The toilets and showers are so filthy that we didn't use them.
It's a pity because the place is located just 10 min from town center
