Lots of street parking around the park. Can be noisy with street noice and buses but safe. Beautiful park. Signs about street sweeping the 1st Friday of the month so be mindful. Lots of dogs at the park during the day.

Paid parking lot near Cheeseman Park. It’s employee parking between between 6 a.m. and 6 PM Monday through Fridays. But you can park here in the evenings and all weekend for a fee. No signage saying no camping so just be stealth. I stayed in my 22 foot coachman van with a mountain bike on the back took up a little more than one space but the lot was pretty empty. there were a couple other vehicles in the lot but no one else camping. 24 hour fee on a Friday night was $20. I think it’s $10 if just stay for 12 hours.
Report Check-Instayed here a few days. made sure to change spots every few days. but there are like five blocks of unrestricted parking around. they usually fill up around 4-5pm but you could get lucky later. make sure to check the signs. one side of the street is first Friday of the month. the other side will be first Thursday. the in-between streets could be another day. some spots are no parking ever. make sure to check the signs on the side of the street you are on. other than that it's been really great. plenty around for everyone. great park with plenty going on. grocery stores, bars, restaurants, and clubs nearby.
Report Check-InStealth camping in downtown Denver. There are port-a-pottys across Cheesman Park. It is residential so on weekends, there were people walking around/driving through most hours of the day and night, but the noise level wasn’t too bothersome. Make sure to pay attention to street sweeping signs - each street is a different day. Full Verizon & AT&T service.
Report Check-InCapHill and the residential area around Chessman Park is filled with legal overnight street parking. (Note that every block has 1 morning/month of no parking for street cleaning during the spring and summer months; and some blocks are restricted but it’s all well signed!) It’s lovely, quiet and feels quite safe. I spent three nights total in 2 different spots. The walk to Chessman park through nice residential areas is pleasant and the park is sunny and open for morning exercise. Plenty of people out early with dogs.
