Description
Found that awesome place directly at the beach of Lake Tanganyika. It’s a bar/restaurant with a big beautiful garden, a little paradise south of Bujumbura.
Charles, the owner, kindly allowed me to stay at the beach. You can cook your own food or use the restaurant. Basic toilets are there as well. Otherwise no facilities but they are constantly working to make improvements.
The whole team was amazing, great hospitality! If you need something - they try to organize it for you. If you are traveling in Burundi, that’s a place to be

Good place to spend a night (did not see any other options). Friendly staff, very basic toilets, beach good for a swim but we were warned to be careful of hippos. BF10,000 per person. Not signed from main road but turn towards Lake when you see a church or check with locals.
