Diriyah Gate | Tourist Attraction

The UNESCO heritage site is open now! Entry is 50 rial pp, you can book your tickets online or at the entry and you can spend the amount of your ticket at any restaurant on the site. There are 2 time slots: before 5pm or after 5pm, open till midnight.
The old city is restored and there’s not much details left to see. Information about the city is limited, but we found out later that there are guide tours, so recommend taking a guided tour if you want to learn about the history.

As mentioned before by another fellow motorcyclist, you circle around the place (google), and have to ask local guards where to park to visit. But parking is far from the fort, and leaving my loaded motorcycle unattended is not an option. Besides, parking is expensive. Unfortunatelly, not overlander-friendly. I just took a photo from afar and went away

I am on a motorbike and tried to get to the World Heritage Village. Google and Security send you around the houses, so after 3rd round I gave up. Another reason was at the end, you need to use the official parking and leaving my bike alone is no option for me.
Due to google you have to pay for parking plus entrance to the village (or whatever).
I think they have to work hard on making it possible to visit for foreigners ...as I said, I gave up! Oh, and as passing by the restaurant area, guess the prices for a soft drink, cafe or even food might be not within the normal overlander daily budget ;-)

Closed in public at the moment but KSA is preparing something extraordinary here on the grounds of where the first Saudi state was and it was destroyed by the Ottomans. This is just a point of entry here
