Description

Super nice spot right in front of the point — for 10$ you get a shower and a bathroom. They also have small cabinas and hammocks for rent. Fresh breeze and no mosquito! Friendly cat that will come hang with you for sure too

This is a great spot for surfers! We stayed 5 nights and paid $7 per person. Decent sized lot for campervans and there is a palapa for tents and hammocks. You can’t get closer to the surf! Owner was friendly and we could use the stove, sink and bathrooms. Shower was the only thing lacking because it’s a bucket shower. Water was refreshing and clean. The road from las Flores to Punta mango is mostly paved now but the last 300 meters to get to the camping is narrow and rocky. 2wd can make it tho. There is a restaurant, pupuseria and little market that sells water and basic groceries just up on the main road. It’s a great place for surfers!

after this „good resume“ we went further ahead- parked on the rocks next to the „Hammock Bunk“
Free and we have the same view/vibes too
(Later he came for the money but it is public property and he can do nothing)

Report Check-In

Ideal spot for surfing but the owner not at all pleasant, very rudimentary installation. A single toilet and a shower with a water seal. Too expensive.

Report Check-In

There is only one place here, the other one doesn't exist anymore or its just the same. 10 USD after haggling to park on a stretch of land full of garbage and pieces of broken glass, with a dirty toilet and a bucket the arrogant owner calls "shower". Road in is rocky. Definetly would prefer to camp in the wild even if I need to pay for it. Without wind there are quiet a lot of mosquitoes around.
Would not recommend this stretch of coast to non-surfers as its just overpriced for what you get and people are not friendly compared to the unbelievably nice locals in the country side or on the great beach spots further up north.
