Campsite next to an asfalted area on gravel road. Crossing the bridge from Holbrook, turn right and then drive to the end and g the road. Quite a bit of garbage, but very convenient, next to I-40, close to petrified Forest NP. Spend a quiet night here, out of sight, not much noise. ATT coverage is weak.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
As described. However, the area is also used by the Chinle School District for training bus drivers, on occasion.
Report Check-Inpaved parking area on a dead end road. been here a few hours. pretty quiet. probably good for just one night. litter was everywhere so I picked it up near our spot
Report Check-InBig open lot. I got one knock from police at 3am but they didn’t push it and went on their way. (I don’t open my doors at night, no matter who it is)
Be aware, police might visit if you stay here. Unsure of city ordinances
