No longer allowed here. Prescott had really cut out overnight parking as well as clamped down on the corner beggars. Very different from our visit a few years ago. There is some free camping out on Walker Road (by Costco) past Lynx Lake State Park that we enjoyed using.

tried to stay there, got a knock at 9.30pm, a worker from the store said all parking lot is no overnight now and police is known to come by and kick people out. he suggested to stay on the south-west side between two big empty grass areas, still paved parking though. no one bothered me there

Parked to the left of Dicks with one other van that left before 10pm so we had the lot to ourselves. We didn’t receive any knocks in the night but it was LOUD! Street sweeper came through along with a guy with a leaf blower and later pressure washers. And had a tow truck come scope us out around 5am… basically, it works in a pinch but wouldn’t recommend

As described. 4 vans in Dicks parking lot, Couple motorhomes and travel trailers in the parking lot to the left. Good cell service. No grass for pets. Can get noisy with passing trucks and cars.

spent a week here no problems. great backup spot for when lynx lake dispersed camping is all filled up. no issues, fast wifi, full solar

Camped along with 4/5 other RVs and campervans with no problem. Very quiet. I camped on the left side near the back which was super quiet.
