nice spot at the Emerald Lake in a small forest glade, nothing special good for a night, quiet at night, unfortunately no view over the lake, some trees between

Nice flat area in the wood. Suits for 3 or 4 small Rv. Access to the lake by walk.
Good night and quiet evening if we can hear a little the road. Close to Carcross.
Nice area with 3 to 4 spots for +- 22 feet long set up! Into the forests. Access to the lake by foot. Water but from the lake. Few people walking to see the lake. Relatively quiet. We stayed there 2 nights. Carcross is not far! Pretty dynamic little town for Mountain biking and hiking trails.
Report Check-InFlat area in the woods with 4/5 spots. Compared to the other site next door, there is no access to the lake or view. Trees are blocking it. However it’s very accessible from the highway (and yet quiet). Not really connection
Report Check-InWild camping next to Emerald Lake. No signs that camping is forbidden. Few fire pits. Room for our 26 feet truck camper. Maybe 2 extra and a few tents.
Report Check-InSuper spot au bord du lac. Dans le bois, pas de vue direct mais très tranquille. On entends à peine les voitures passer sur la route.
Tranquillité assurée!
We took a left at the intersection and parked parallel to highway, good enough for us.
Report Check-InThose two listed spots (Emerald Lake) are at the same place. I would say 4 sites for smaller RVs :
-one is alone right by the water at the end of 200ft narrow road, but closer to and visible from the road and lake not as nice for swimming.
-the other three sites are together on another 200ft road in a more foresty environment with no direct view on the lake, but not visible from the road and nicer swimming conditions.
Tent camping is easy among the trees.
Larger RVs could stay in the entrance, where there’s a big parking lot/turnaround.
The spot being at the bottom of two hills, the road is quite noisy, but it’s free and right beside a jewel of the Yukon.
Not too many mosquitoes, indeed.
Report Check-InNice place, you can all the way to the lake. Turn to the right from the road.
Report Check-InVery quiet. Just next to Emerald lake, which is beautiful. Not too many mosquitos. It's perfect for one night
