sendero Chaitén bathrooms | Water

Bathrooms are unlocked and water is running. Nice parking lot with good information about the park posted. There is a “no camping” sign.

We tried the valve but it did not work. There is another one further in in the bushes Burgtheatern one also did not help.

We arrived at the end of march and toilets were closed and the water turned off. But next to the faucet is a red shut-off valve. Turn it upwards and water will flow!

The water is completely shut off for the season along with the campgrounds.

Very good water. It is filtered. You need approximately 14 m hose

You need a water hose of at least 20 mtr to fill your truck. Can’t park closer to it.

There is a tap outside to fill up your water tank. We drink that water it was good ;)
