Campground with pit toilets, potable water, garbage bins. Unserviced sites ($20) and sites with electricity ($35) 15 A. pretty near train line and some road noise but the train doesn't seem to 'honk' here.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Nice little overnight campground. Off road and tricky to find but it was comfortable. The River on the backside of the campground has a nice bench to sit on and interpretive information.
The camp host is lovely and we visited a bit, she accommodating and welcoming.
Would stay here again.
This was a good cheap spot when we didn't want to just go to a road pull in. pretty basic facilities, like a rec site in BC, but fine for us. on a Monday evening about 75% of the serviced sites were full ($35) but the unserviced sites were all empty ($20). unserviced sites aren't huge, not sure you'd fit a big truck and a tent but us in a 20ft van we were fine. the serviced sites are pull through and fit large trailers and caravans.
Report Check-InThis place is super run down, and swarming with mosquitoes. We didn’t stay, as it’s not worth the $20.
Report Check-InNice quiet spot. Bit of snow around still and not all sites are cleared of the snow. No issues finding a snow free spot to park up though. Toliets (with lights), garbage bins and a shared shelter for cooking and hanging out at.
Can't find any potable water? I bought my own just incase. $20 a night which seems fair. - bring cash.
Also the odd train goes past at night but didn't bothered me. Ear plugs 😅
Awesome little campground! Quite a few campers here for Thursday in March. Pit toilets, picnic shelter with wood stove and even has kindling and some wood on hand! Perfect spot.
