This specific spot is great! There are many roads available to trail off on and find "your own spot". However this view will be hard to beat! I've seen 2 cars and neither looked like overnighters. The road/trails are bumpy but very do a ble for most vehicles even low car like clearance could make it out here. Drive able roads and trails are marked as stated when you are first entering. Like the signs say "Use it, don't abuse it!"
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
All BLM find a pull over spot for the night and camp. Stay on the main dirt road up, you’ll find a few places that are easy for vans even rvs. Other places further on other smaller trails will need 4x4 high clearance. We also had decent service with Verizon once we got to our spot a little higher up the road. Parked by a sign. Lots of wild life around so be safe
Report Check-InNice, quiet place. saw some other campers nearby. T-mo cell service but kinda slow.
Report Check-InMade it here with my 25ft Skoolie, bumpy and a little sketchy on the way up but doable.
Beautiful spot, quiet and dark at night, no one really around. During the day some OHVs coming by but nothing crazy. Could fit another 2-3 skoolies here. Very windy right now though, not sure if always like this but it's definitely windy!
Great TMobile service, working off my hotspot, zoom calls and all.
Report Check-InGreat spot and have 2 bars of T mobile. Another two spots down the same road. High clearance recommended for those ones.
Report Check-InWild camping but incredible views and just high enough in altitude to avoid the heat of Vegas. Even in late June the temps maxed at 85°. Road is rocky but flat and navigable in our 170 2wd Sprinter. We came in late and picked a spot close to the road but it was clear there was more road/access behind our spot and further up the main road. Overall, quiet and a little windy. There was a little bit of trash about, but we packed out.
