We stayed at Jupiter campsite - one of the three exclusive campsites. As per the description of the site, a beautiful fitting ablutions and kitchen block with a table, braai pit, solar power and hot shower with a flushing toilet. The canvas and wood, construction blend into the scenery. Bring own firewood. You can rent a wooden plank to go dune boarding. A short drive fro. The campsites but required 4x4 access. The starry night and calm location is well worth the price. One of the best campsites on our journey thus far.

1391.50 total including park fees for Orion, 2 people, 1 night. For us, this was well worth it. You pay for the exclusivity and beauty. Stunning park, Milky Way sky, great 4x4 self drive. Call in advance as there are only 3 sites, set over a 10km track- which is what makes this place so special. Highly recommend. Bring own firewood. No wifi, no signal. One of the most beautiful places on our whole trip.

Amazing spot in the dunes with very convenient infrastructure of kitchen, ablutions, veranda. We stayed at Jupiter. Definitely worth the money for 2-3 days. Great sundowner walks on the dunes by yourself possible.

We also did the education hike with Cornelius in the morning to learn about the tracks and small creatures in the area. Sand boarding is also fun but don’t expect too much . You can also buy lettuce, tomatoes and many different herbs from the garden at the reception.

Beautiful campsite. A bit more expensive, but well worth the money considering the unique location and the facilities. We stayed at Orion, next to a water hole. Own abblution with hot water (solar). 4x4 route is very nice (approx. 10km). Can also recommend the game drive (2hrs) at 525N$ p.p. The guide takes you deeper into the desert and you realize the campsite area covers only about 2% of the reserve.

Yes, this campsite is more expensive than the others, but the sunset on your "private" dune is worth every dolar you spend for this.

The Namibrand is one of the most beautiful places we have camped.
The only issue was the flies - they are a big problem.
There was also no water in waterhole during our stay - we did report this. We are not sure they are checked very regularly.

Everything said about the surrounding.
You can do a self drive 4x4 through the dunes.
They build one more campsite last year. As it is brand new it is more expansive.

Very beautiful surrounding, amazing view over the valley dunes and mountains! The 3 campsites are in red dune pans, are privat and have own ablutions.
Quite expensive though, paid $340pp with 20%discount + $205 parkfee, makes it for the two of us almost $1100.
Too bad that the wind was quite strong between 16.00 and 21.00, it was a bit of a sandstorm.. It's probably the time of the year.
If you're looking for something exclusive with a beautiful view, we could really recommend the place bit check the weather conditions

By far the best campsite I have ever been to! This is a well hidden spot, which can be difficult to reach and is located in an area with no cell-phone reception. Make sure you pre-book, follow the driving instructions in the booking, and make arrangements with the care-taker as to when to arrive. We arrived late and drove around the large plot for a long time (getting stuck in the sand along the way) looking for someone who could direct us to our camp spot. Once we got to the spot though, it was perfect. Completely secluded, you are bathed in the light from the stars and moon, whilst you can enjoy protection from the elements under a Private block which includes separate bathrooms and toilets, a small washing up area, and a large "dining room" setup. Very much a glamping experience with all the privacy and isolation of wild camping.

The solar power, unfortunately, does not last very long and we ran out of light mid-dinner.
