Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
As described, but just clarifying the price: it's 15 USD pppn for the lodge and 15 USD bed levy (sometimes called 'camp fee') for African Parks pppn. If you've already paid the bed levy at the entrance gate, make sure to bring a receipt (otherwise, the accommodation has to charge you for this again). The tap water is bore water and is potable. You can pay by card.
Report Check-InNice campsite. Every site has a tap, a light and power socket. When we were there, there was a problem with electricity, so we had none during the night. Only at daytime.
Ablutions are nice with hot water from donkey. Free wifi both at campsite and at the viewing deck at main camp with the chalets. Free coffee and tea at the viewing deck.
Firewood was provided for free.
We were charged $30 per person per night. They preferred cash payment, since they had some problems with the card machine. Possible to pay in Kwacha or USD.
Nice campsite to visit the Busanga Plains, though still little over an hour driving to reach the plains. We heard lions and hyenas at night. There are crocs and hippo's in the river next to camp, but it's a steep ridge down to the water, so it felt safe.
We did a full day game drive to Busanga Plains for $100 per person. Pick up at campsite at 5:30 and breakfast, lunch, drinks and a beer in the afternoon are included. We had both Joe and Histon as guides and they were amazing. Nice guys and really knowledgeable.
We can highly recommend this campsite.
Nice place, we were the only visitors at the time. Wifi at campsite, free fire wood, electricity on site but only for charging your phone. Sitting area in the lodge (1km from camp) has excellent view over the waters.
1 hour driving to Busanga Plains.
No phone signal network but one can use Wifi, there are electricity charging points around the campsite
Report Check-Inactually 35Us$ pp, expect 15Us$ tax on top in future. Time to Busanga 1:20 h, there are also game drive tracks around the place. Game is very shy needs to be more used to cars.
