Nice large campsites next to the Kavango, use of communal ablutions, very clean and tidy, electrical plug point and water tap at each campsite. Easy gravel entrance road and can accommodate big rigs. Lovely view of the Kavango River. Restaurant on site and boat trips offered.

We have had a confirmed and paid booking for 7 persons for 2 nights today. Upon arrival, nothing available and staff not awared of. A big party is going on. We had to move to Nunda.

Very nice campsite at the river side. Ablution are very clean, you have water, shade and electricity at every spot (plus a nice view over the river) and WiFi. We haven’t try it but you also have a restaurent. Quiet cheap (180pppn) compared to the others campsites around.

Wanted to stay on the wildspot close to the lake but no shade, not close to the river and full of baboons. We have decided to stay at this campsite and it was a good idea : 180Nad/person, each campsite is big with shade. But the better is that hippos are in front of you all the day and night !

stayed here for 2 nights. well maintained. Bwabwata Buffalo Core and Mahango Core nearby. The Boat Cruise was relaxen and fun.

Great place! Very clean common abolutions, places are spacious, shaded with great view on the river. Saw an heard many hippos directly opposite the camp, watched them the whole afternoon.
Nice deck at the bar for a drink in the evening.
We were the only guests, stayed in camp 1.
Road to the camp is gravel, not difficult.
We can highly recommend this place, payed 180 namib dollar ppn.

Nice campsite right on the river. N$180/pppn. Can pay with card. We were the only campers, so we had peaceful two nights. We were in the campsite 1, with a nice, open view to the river, wifi reached to that site, too. Communal ablution was ok, could’ve been a bit more tidier, though. We didn’t see anyone cleaning it during our stay.. Warm solar shower was ok. Electricity is by solar, so it’s a bit unstable. The sites with private ablutions were very overpriced; N$290/pppn. Common ablution was very alright.
Would still recommend this place 100 times over their neighbor Ngepi, which is derelict, noisy, no real river view campsites and expensive (*not* worth going).

We stayed here from January 2, 2024 for two days. Had campsite number 3 right on the river with its own bathroom, toilet, warm shower and a washing up sink. It's very, very nice here… Pretty new… We were almost the only guests, which we can't understand since it's a special campsite. We can only recommend this campsite to anyone who wants to stay right next to the water in a quiet atmosphere.

Very friendly staff. Stayed 6 nights with our kids. All comments below are still valid! We also took a boat ride to poppa falls

Everybody else was full, and in some places the camping is very squashed and busy - whereas this place had loads of spaces available as it’s huge, and beautifully spread across a lovely wide part of the river and every spot has great river access.
New Namib/German manager, Petra, whipping things into shape, huge deck area on the river. Sports with shared ablutions (small but spotless, hot shower is good) are 180pppn
Highly recommended, I stayed 6 nights and used it as a base to explore the nearby parks.

Wonderful lodge with many camp sites, our had a view directly onto a family of hippos. Restaurant has a menu with options, all are delicious.

Awsome spot right on the river with friendly staff…. Definitely worth a stop over for a night or two

I had a blast here!

It’s new and the staff are all excited.

Great food, wonderful views and I saw the hippos and crocodiles on the lake in the morning. Can’t recommend it enough.

Spacious campsite on great grass. Your own power outlets, bbq and privacy.

Shorty deep sand road to the site. Tricky on two wheels.

Purified water from the lake! The first such machine in Namibia, second in Africa.
