Description

Nice but hilly campsite and it is difficult to level your motorhome (it's camping not glamping... all easy). Day walks and hikes start from the camping. 220 ZAR for 2 persons and a rig, without electricity, but including KZN Park fee.

Spend 2 nights there. Great location for hiking. Camp site needs some attention. Not all had Braai’s and if you ask they will supply portable braai. Bathroom not great and ours didn’t have any working lights and one toilet. We had a good stand so it made it worth it

Report Check-In

As described. Gate open 6am - 6pm. Price now 110R/120R per person per night without/with electricity (or 140R/150R in high season). They give you a map when you register for your hike. Cellular connection (MTN and VodaCom) comes and goes.

Beautiful campsite right in the mountains with stunning views. The site is well managed and ablutions are clean with hot water. Uneven stands did not bother too much.

Not many leveled sites for parking bigger vehicles... The hikes are great and in good condition compare to others further south at "The Berg" 140,- pppn because of holidays. 3-4G Cell C reception

Great location and plenty of safe and wonderful walks. Stunning scenery.
Hill campsite but fine.
When we were here the ablutions were NOT CLEAN. NO HOT WATER!!
If that was rectified, the camp would score 8/10.
