The town operates a small cmpground with 7 RV sites, $25 for 3 way service but most sites are taken up by locals. Paid sites include a fire pit and free wood. We had good wifi and telephone service. We asked and were told that boondocking is welcome. Parking lot is very large, gravel, and level. Park towards access to the Maple Ridge hiking trail which is wonderful. The town operates a large outdoor pool that has yet to open July 5. Note that there is a washroom for hikers, campers and boondockers. It's open 24 hrs. Pool may have showers? RV park doesn't. Be sure to visit the Sperm Whale exhibit. It's amazing and they offer a free dump station too.
