Camp Itara | Established Campground

We have stayed twice at Claudia and Christoph’s place, each time stayed longer than planned. Perfect place to start your trip in Georgia or to take a travel break. We were warmly welcomed and received great support with various organisational things. Outdoor guest bathroom is under construction but it was no problem to use their private bathroom and washing machine. The little dogs are just adorable and since recently they built a free-range, so nobody has to feel disturbed by running dogs.

As described, a great place to relax. Green and lush surroundings. Came for 1 night, stayed 3!

Christoph and Claudia, thank you very much for the great time I spend with your Family at your place👍👏. I didn't have a Problem with the Outdoor shower and Toilette still under construction, you are offered their private facilities. the washing Machines did a great Job and you can make also a small fireplace for bbq and hot Coffee -water! Electrocity ist at Site, Tabs with running freshwater. they don't have a fixed price per night, you donate what you think IT IS Worth to stay there😉😎. again thanks for the outstanding time I Had at your Garden!best greetings, Thomas and the landy

Highly recommended campsite, run by Christoph and Claudia, a German couple with their two kids and friendly dogs.

For now you can park or camp in their beautiful garden and use their toilet, shower, washing machine and sewage disposal on a donation basis. But they are already building an outdoor kitchen and bathroom. There is a very interesting tea factory to visit nearby (where you can also buy tea) and a possibility to have family dinner with their superfriendly Georgian neighbors.

Christoph is willing to help you with any car or Camper-van problem and has already some good contacts in town. They stranded here with their self converted car a year ago and are definitely worth a visit!

Quiet place to stay surrounded by greenery. View of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains. Barbecue area available. We, a German emigrant family, look forward to your visit. The place and its infrastructure is still under construction. But we enjoy every visit and happy to help everyone. Happy Travels, Claudia and Christoph
