There are a few spots just over a small bridge right off the highway. They are on the Rogue River which drowns out the road noise. The first one is the best. It had a stone fireplace from a long gone house. Lots of shade and no litter scene.

snow wasn’t bad, used the chimney spot in a stealth camper. stayed a few nights w no one around📍
Report Check-InDispersed camping along the Rogue River. No facilities. Beautiful spot. 30 minutes to Crater Lake.
Report Check-InThis place is AMAZING. You're across the river from the highway, so most road noise is drowned out. Only the loudest trucks are audible, and they only run during the day. Log trucks also use the side road occasionally.
That's just about the only negatives though. There is an old chimney that is awesome to use, the forest is beautiful, and the water is crystal clear. We got our 35 foot skoolie in and out of here without much problem.
There are a bunch of spots down the road if these are taken as well. It's beautiful here. No cell service though
Report Check-InCross bridge over creek then turn right into campsites. Next to creek with nice little rapid. Use caution next to water if you have kids. Some road noise. Could fit 4 or so vans. Not so good for trailers unless yo are good at backing up.
Report Check-InClosed off with snow, at the time we tried to go there! I don't know if this is normal during winter or if it's only temporary, that perhaps the snow wasn't removed yet.
Report Check-InLovely spot on the Rogue. The site with the stone chimney was taken, but there was another next door. There are two more on the near side of the river, but they are marked no camping and would be noisy right off the road. No toilet, potable water, or cell service. The site was clean and had a nice tent site.
