Beautiful spot. Several years since the last comment, and there's no sign of an old lady or her dogs. There's some metal ruins that have fallen into the river, hope that wasn't her place.

Spot itself is perfect for a night or two. Smaller rigs (Jeeps etc) can get right down on to the river rocks, and there's space for several bigger vehicles on the bank. Would NOT bring a 5th wheel down here.

Very clean, few bugs this time of year. Just the river for company and the occasional sound of a vehicle on the Dempster.

NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT THE LOCALS HERE IN YOUR COMMENTS. This is at their request while I was there!

This is a nice spot by the river with a couple of flat areas for a small RV or vans/cars. You can hear some vehicles on the Dempster, but overall very quiet other than the churning of the water. Stayed for 2 nights.
Pack out your trash and don’t burn it. Keep the area clean for others and the locals!

You need to take North Fork road 2 km before and than turn left to get there. It’s a good small gravel road. You can’t get there direct from the highway. Lots of space dogs are friendly take you are time to get off your van .

Wonderful place for overnight. Judy is very kind and her dogs very friendly. We stayed here one night. Right in the river with some places to make fire and plenty of wood. Please, as said keep the place clean and never feed her dogs. This is a very special place and we saw the Aurora reflecting in the river! Gorgeous!

Great spot. Google Maps will take you a slightly longer route than necessary. Room for at least 4 or 5 vehicles. The road in is rough but good condition.

Nice spot! We have also met the lovely old lady. Her dogs are great. Please keep the area clean otherwise it’s will be dangerous for her dogs. There is currently a grizzly in the neighborhood.

Beautiful and quiet place with fire pit. A very nice old lady lives close to this place, she used to walk her dogs in this area. She told us about two black bears in this area, one of them brown. But we haven't seen them, only a porcupine came visiting at night.

Nice place by the river. Old electric crane, rests of bridge and abadoned buildings to investigate. Nice and quiet. Few stone ring firepits. Take the "second right" from the main road at 64.01201,-138.61037.

On the River a wonderful place to stay.

Vom Dempster geht eine gute Gravel weg und anschliessend geht eine etwas schmalere links parallel zum Dempster.
