Latest Check-Ins

Just pulled into the boat launch parking lot at George Blouin Park for a quick lunch on the road in our 40 ft motorhome. Riverview Campground has very limited hours . We don’t plan to stay the night but I’m sure you could. Washrooms were locked.

Ça fait la job, mais ça semble abandonner. Entretiens absent. Pas de douche, pas de toilette. Plein de cochonneries par terre à notre emplacement de camping. Certains spots sont plus privés, mais en général, c'est tout collé un sur l'autre...

Stayed in the parking lot for a night. It was pretty quiet and no one bothered us. Overnight was not prohibited. There's some nice picnic tables by the water and there's even 15A electricity by the white box. Some trains were quite loud but they didn't disturb during the night. Maybe there's that one only train that was loud.

$40 (cash, including tax) per night for full hookups. Clean, pretty, and well-maintained. Friendly owner. Noise from highway and trains but not significant. Children's play area. Boat launch area. Trail.

Followed an OPP officer in (he was in a pick up truck doing rounds I guess). Parked our 41’ motorhome towing a Jeep without difficulty. No one else camping but some locals were around. It was noisy but bearable. Good for a free stop.

Things change. Toilets locked, no showers and no drinking watet available at this location. Adjacent RV park has full hookups for $44 per night collected by late afternoon.

Arrived late at night in a heavy rain storm... found the campsite area the other user had mentioned, but there were local kids milling around. We drove around with the LED bar on and located the larger "campground" on the other side of the parking lot. Chose a space further up the hill near the treeline and pitched the tent. Slept well, no disturbance. The women's room was locked in the morning but she used the mens room to shower as well. Hot water and free! Couldn't ask for more out of a quick place to spend the night on the Trans Canada Highway.

Parking lot on the lake side. Very quiet. We asked a local and he said there was no restriction to stop there for the night. There are toilets and showers. We do not know if they are public or if they belong to the campground nearby. Anyway, we used them and it was very clean.
