Description

Basic but nice place, small individual chalets (about 700zar?), nice pool, friendly manageress.
Camping area across the road is used by hunters during the hunting season, else it’s free and nice to use.
Otherwise they will let you camp next to a chalet and use the toilet/shower if one is free. They may build an animation block soon. Seems quite flexible and willing to accommodate. Quoted 300 for the camp site, as I’m one person I politely talked them around to 150 for just me.
The border has no trucks, so is quick and easy, open to everybody both sides. A great option, road up here is much nicer than following highway with the trucks and police harassment.

Friendly staff, cold beers and a lovely swimming pool is just what's needed after a long day's drive through Bots. Basic but nice rooms and a very cozy restaurant. Only a couple of hundred metres from the border post!

Camping is 350 per site for 2 pax, there is no rate for solo travelers. I didn’t stay as they didn’t want to reduce the rate.

Went to Jentz guesthouse in Lephale, where they upgraded me with a room for the campsite rate of 200 :-)

Brilliant camp site on the river's edge, on the western side of the main road and away from the Lodge. Will definitely visit again -

Very conveniently located just after/before the border post in SA. Rooms available. We wild camped with the use of ablutions. The staff are lovely and the restaurant very affordable and our steaks excellent. Perfect spot for an overnighter.
