about 2kms south of la dune du pilat carpark, between 2 camp sites (before les flots bleu campsite) you climb up the dune. you can climb in the sand or there are stairs on your right when you are in front of the dune.
you go down the dune at the level of the path between the 2 campsites and just next to the sea there are some nice bushes and a place for a tent !
nice spot to camp, maybe you can find some all along this little coast.
just leave the place clean when you leave ! respect ! ;-)
about 2kms north there's a bar on the beach, expensive but they can give you water !
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Carry, the coordinates were wrong! We found it cause of the name of the camping ground.
It's not legal or accepted in any way to camp at the dune du pilat! Police is sometimes control and you'll get a fine. It's not that easy to hide a tent cause many tourists are there and watching sunset...
I can't recommend this place as a wildcamping spot, we decided to stay at the camping ground in front of.
It was 25€ for our tent without electricity...
