United States
Open all year round. First-come first-serve. 14-day maximum. 41 electric ($15) and 20 ($12) primitive sites. Pit toilets available and water available (seasonal). We got in on a late Tuesday night and it was still busy. It’s a popular spot for those that like to hunt and fish. It also has a boat ramp. We came in through the Kil-So-Quah entrance for the campground. Spacious, further in for primitive spots and all have picnic tables and fire rings. The electric sections were more close together. Be ready for bugs. Got 2 bars with Verizon.

Nice location. came here to be close to my father as he's passing. when I was gone to be with my father I came back to all my camp items stolen. went ahead and parked for the night came back the next day and my spot was taken. took me 2 hours to level out on another location. not a trustworthy location. leave nothing out.
Report Check-InCame in at midnight on a Saturday night and there were still a few primitive sites available, the electric sites seemed full. Very loud in the morning, the neighboring farmers fields shoot air guns all morning to scare birds away and there seems to be an airport nearby, lots of planes buzzing close by. otherwise a nice spot
Report Check-InFound a site with electric on a Friday night in June. Beautiful sites in primitive areas by the water but they were full. Still electric sites weren't too close, better than most. For 15 bucks for electric and a drop box payment system you can't beat it. Gem when on the road. Sites big enough for our 34 TT wide enough to park the truck easily too.
Report Check-InOpen all year around. First come first serve. 14 day maximum. There seems to be two exits from Hwy 224 to JE Roush Lake. We took the Kil-SoQuah campground exit. (Seemed the more direct route).
Electric $15/night. — 41 sites
Primitive $12/night. — 20 sites
Check in at the entrance sign. Pay via cash/envelope drop box. Envelope has a part you rip off and place on your numbered site pole at entrance to site. Check out 2pm. Multiple pit toilets spreads throughout. Garbage bins available.
There is also water faucets spread throughout the campground. Camp host says it’s potable. Cold spring feed water, “even better than the towns water source”. However the water is seasonal. The water quality is questionable to me. I understand it not to be available during the colder months.
There is a active shooting range across the water. The sound carries quite well over the water. Glad that my dog is not affected by noises from firearms. But if yours is, something to keep in mind.
